| Anonymous first-party funnel progress | A random browser-session identifier, page route, video milestone, quiz step number, lead gate, paywall and checkout stage, plus allowlisted campaign or ad identifiers | Understand where the public funnel is confusing or abandoned and improve it | 90 days. How we use and disclose information
We use the information to respond to your request, determine fit and founder capacity, send an approved checkout link or written decline, operate the lead queue, prevent fraud or abuse, improve the offer, and measure outreach. We may disclose only what is reasonably necessary to service providers that host the site, deliver the request notification, process an accepted payment, protect the form, or measure advertising.
Current or anticipated providers include Vercel for website hosting, Convex for application data, Stripe for payment and subscription processing, Mailgun or another notification provider, and Meta when an ad-measurement connection is enabled. We do not send client details, job documents, contract text, photos, fit answers, or exact job economics to Meta.
Advertising measurement
The public fit path uses browser session storage—not a new tracking cookie—to keep a random session identifier during the open browser session. ScopeCleared stores only coarse first-party progress from that session so it can measure page-to-video, quiz-step, lead, paywall, checkout, and purchase drop-off. This first-party record excludes identity, contact details, qualification answers, free text, and job economics.
If you arrive from an advertisement and consent at the form, ScopeCleared may send a limited event to Meta to record that a fit request was submitted. That event may include a one-way hashed version of the contact information you supplied, the submission identifier, browser/network information, and allowlisted campaign attribution. It does not include the qualification answers or private job information.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use the public form to collect sensitive personal information. To object to advertising measurement or request that we delete a lead record, email privacy@scopecleared.com.
Your choices
- You can choose not to submit the form and contact us directly.
- You may request access, correction, or deletion of the business contact information associated with your request.
- You may withdraw permission for future sales follow-up at any time by replying or using the unsubscribe link in any sequence email.
- You may object to future advertising measurement associated with your contact information.
Security and boundaries
We use access controls, encrypted transport, bounded server-side validation, duplicate protection, and restricted administrator access appropriate to the proof-stage lead path. No internet transmission or storage system is guaranteed to be completely secure.
The public request path is separate from secure job-file intake. Do not send private job evidence until ScopeCleared provides an authenticated, job-specific intake path after purchase and readiness review.
Do Not Track and third-party collection
Browsers may send “Do Not Track” signals, but there is no universally accepted response standard. ScopeCleared does not currently change its first-party form behavior based only on that signal. Third-party advertising or hosting providers may receive technical event data as described above and apply their own privacy notices and controls.
Changes and contact
We may update this notice as the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will change when the notice changes materially.
